Job Duties
To provide quality educational programs that enable incarcerated adults to become responsible, productive, tax-paying members of their community.
To provide diagnostic and standardized educational testing services to incarcerated adults in a test center region of multiple facilities to determine/assess eligibility for educational programs, assist with educational program planning, and determine eligibility for academic credentials, e.g., the GED.
Minimum Qualifications
Must possess a Virginia Teacher's License. Experience with general standardized testing procedures. Experience and familiarity with an array of academic diagnostic tests, e.g., Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE), Official Practice Test (OPT) of the GED@, General Education Development (GED) test, WorkKeys for the Career Readiness Certificate (CRC). Experience with IT applications for computer-based testing; skills in the use of software applications for reporting, i.e., MS Office (Word, Excel, Access) Experience administering, scoring and interpreting results of educational tests. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
